Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while maintaining delivery timelines
- Secure and verify cargo throughout transit to ensure damage prevention
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery records, and paperwork
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and team members
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
