Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the equipment is in safe working order.
- Manage accurate documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), delivery receipts, and logs.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record, free of major violations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
