Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Complete required paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Represent Logistics Pro Transport with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with North Carolina roadways and regional logistics hubs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
