Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Denver and surrounding areas
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and local traffic laws
- Load/unload cargo with precision using proper equipment and techniques
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time navigation
- Submit daily logs, delivery reports, and expense documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and random drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of Denver metro area and Colorado highway systems
