Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance records
- Optimize delivery schedules while adhering to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Manage loading/unloading procedures and secure cargo according to specifications
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
