Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across Florida and the Southeast
- Maintain accurate logs, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Tampa metro area and Florida highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication abilities
