Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery across Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and on-time performance
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading when required and maintain cargo security
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and communication skills
