Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently according to DOT regulations
- Plan optimal delivery routes while adhering to schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate paperwork
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Southwest Fleet Solutions professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat placarding (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong navigation skills and route planning ability
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
