Responsibilities
- • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on time-sensitive routes
- • Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- • Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- • Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while meeting delivery deadlines
- • Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- • Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and all required documentation
Qualifications
- • Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- • Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- • Strong knowledge of Maryland/DC/Virginia roadways
- • Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- • Must be 25+ years of age with valid US passport or equivalent documentation
