Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity and adhering to weight regulations.
- Maintain accurate Driver Qualification Files (DQF) and Hours of Service (HOS) logs.
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers and receivers during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (OTR, Flatbed, or Reefer).
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends if necessary.
