Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on assigned routes in and around Fort Worth and beyond.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and tie-down procedures.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Keep the truck cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Willingness to cross state lines and work varied schedules.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
