Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (e-BOLs, mileage, inspections)
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage efficient route planning to meet delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Familiarity with Colorado mountain driving conditions and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with reliable data for e-documentation
- Proof of current DOT medical card
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings/weekends
