Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes between Albuquerque, NM and Texas cities
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using specialized equipment as needed
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route adjustments
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) operations
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb into/out of trailer
- Knowledge of NM/Texas highway systems and weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- No preventable accidents or major violations in past 3 years
