Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Strong knowledge of NC roadways and traffic laws
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
