Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents or maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
