Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Oakland Bay Area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- DOT medical certification current
