Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods on regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting strict delivery timelines
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain accurate delivery records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
