Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques using provided equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training programs
- Assist in training new drivers on company procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
