Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Boston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for DOT compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries in high-traffic urban environments
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Boston traffic patterns and local regulations
- DOT medical certification current
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
