Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) while adhering to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules for on-time performance
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
