Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks on assigned vehicles
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic logging systems
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work weekends with fixed schedule
