Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon completion of routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
- Clean, valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
