Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Texas/Ohio roadways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for route optimization systems
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
