Job Responsibilities
As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to various locations in the Central Valley and surrounding areas.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling billing and delivery confirmations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all FMCSA hours of service regulations.
- Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT physical.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and navigation systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in various weather conditions.
- U.S. citizenship or valid legal working status.
