Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, semi-trailers) for time-sensitive deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan optimized routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery deadlines
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues with professionalism
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Assist with warehouse operations during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2+ years commercial driving experience with clean MVR
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Local route knowledge preferred
