Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across San Jose and Bay Area routes
- Execute timely deliveries while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle route adjustments professionally
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and real-time communication with dispatch
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure accurate loading and unloading of freight
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
