Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Texas and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logging
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load optimization
- Document delivery information and handle necessary paperwork
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
