Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and other paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery locations, including proper handling of customer merchandise.
- Ensure the truck and cargo area are kept clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.
