Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries across Oakland Bay Area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for seamless loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Familiarity with Oakland Bay Area road networks
- DOT medical certification and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
