Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive shipments
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time deliveries in challenging urban environments
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch teams
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of Washington state traffic laws and Seattle metro area
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
