Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, dry vans) to deliver freight on strict timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload shipments with precision and secure cargo according to safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Document delivery discrepancies and maintain digital trip records
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening (FMCSA compliant)
