Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe, timely, and courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Load and unload freight using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Verify and inspect cargo for damage or discrepancies prior to and after transport.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and log maintenance requirements accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients at delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of navigation tools and maps.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
