Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods on strict schedules
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and time management
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight and verify delivery documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and report any vehicle maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of LA metro area routes and traffic patterns preferred
