Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers over various road conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) from the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) or regional driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean driving record with no more than two preventable accidents in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance standards.
