As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a crucial role in keeping our supply chain moving efficiently across the region.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and upkeep as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading and unloading.
