Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailer vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and cargo securement.
- Basic computer literacy for paperwork and electronic logging.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required by the schedule.
