Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) on local and regional routes including Texas and Ohio.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and all required paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and shippers at delivery points.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and fleet management regarding route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to submit to random drug testing and safety compliance inspections.
