Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service to shippers and receivers during delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Physical) and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regionally and handle freight in various weather conditions.
