Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on assigned routes throughout the Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and stay within legal driving hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points, including proper documentation and communication.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
