Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes (CA Central Valley)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Assist in freight securement and cargo protection
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current medical certificate (DOT physical)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong familiarity with CA Central Valley geography
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
