Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Riverside County and Southern California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report vehicle issues
- Load/unload freight efficiently using pallet jacks and dock equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided if needed)
