Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within Philadelphia metro area
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication
- Assist in route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle appearance
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends/holidays as needed
