Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Load/unload freight efficiently and verify shipment documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our paid training
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Valid US driver's license and social security number
