Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for daily delivery routes in Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict federal DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Collaborate with logistics team for route optimization and schedule adherence
- Maintain clean driving record and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required (non-CDL candidates acceptable)
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A permit within 30 days of hire
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
