Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and efficient manner over designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Manage delivery schedules, maintain accurate logs (ELD), and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to company appearance standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
