Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on designated routes through Kansas City metro area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate FMCSA-compliant logs
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive freight to industrial and retail partners
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Kansas City metro area and regional highway systems
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and cargo securement standards
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for preventive maintenance
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekend shifts
