Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight and balance restrictions.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Manage daily paperwork, including delivery logs and bill of lading verification.
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Basic math skills for weight and measurement calculations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if required.
