Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated stops in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Handle cargo with care, ensuring proper loading, securing, and unloading procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and all required DOT paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery sites to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical examination on file.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing duties in varying weather conditions.
