Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver freight to customers throughout the Cincinnati region and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and maintain road safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, verifying bills of lading and ensuring freight is handled with care.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork in strict compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Uphold a drug-free workplace and strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Current DOT medical card and proof of drug screen clearance.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, Hours of Service (HOS) rules, and cargo securement.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and bending/reaching.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
