Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logs or paper) and complete all necessary delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery points, resolving any issues promptly.
- Uphold a high standard of cleanliness for both the vehicle and personal appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and DOT Drug Screen.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
